The “Suspended” series was created as a response to the Refugee crisis shortly after the U.K. vote in favour of Brexit. It is a series of works on paper, site specific installations and video works with use text from Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot”
During that time I travelled to Europe by car from the UK and I reflected on my own privilege to be able to move across borders without a care in the world …while others remain suspended, invisible and uncertain of when and if they will be able to reach their destination.
